As seen on Swoon Magazine:
When searching for inspiration for a fresh take on wedding design I often look back to the old masters of painting. It was one painting by Matisse that stood out to me with his use of vibrant colors that worked together harmoniously. I drew my inspiration from his work and built this theme around his use of color. Designing the table scape was so much fun! I partnered with Laura from Dish Wish Rentals for the tabletop rentals and her expert eye and amazing collection provided the perfect place settings. The mid-century modern wooden screen from Sun Drop Vintage rentals was a stunning piece on its own, and provided a gorgeous backdrop that felt very “modern.” I was able to use more of their beautiful pieces to create spaces that felt like you were in the bride’s room as she wrote a love letter to her future husband and an outdoor garden space where she relaxed taking in her wedding day. The rich, vibrant florals were designed by Ellamah and really brought the shoot to life. The two Rue De Seine dresses from Lovely Bride were absolutely perfect for our eclectic bride. Their exquisite and unique design were so rich in detail and just the right balance of artistic and elegant. Lindsay Marie Bridal lent us some of her stunning pieces of handcrafted jewelry. It’s her distinctive use of color that first caught my eye and they were the perfect colorful accents for our bride.
