“I've been shooting weddings in California and around the world for the past six years, and one of my favorite moments in a wedding day is when you can see in the couples' eyes that just for a moment, the craziness and the whirlwind and the whole world has faded away, and it's just them two, elated to have the rest of their lives ahead of them together. I feel so thankful to be part of such a monumental day in peoples' lives and can't wait to meet you!”

Q & A

What skill would you like to master?

As for a more tactile skill, I'd love to master a recipe for the perfect chocolate chip cookie--chewy but slightly crispy, ridges, melty and gooey without being undercooked, pools of melted chocolate, slightly salty. I feel like I'm close! Hard to say, but I'll definitely have to keep baking (and eating) a ton of cookies until we get there ;)

What would your perfect room look like?

My perfect room would have a ton of natural light, the smell of jasmine drifting through the open windows during the summer evenings, and cream chiffon curtains that dance with the breeze. If you'll humor me, my perfect room would have self-cleaning floors and feature a closet that hangs my clothes for me (a girl can dream)!

How do you relax after a hard day of work?

When I come home from a wedding day, one of the first things I love to do is wash the day off with a shower, at a temperature close to scalding. While my images are being downloaded and backed up, I'll most likely be reading in bed or watching a Netflix show in my comfiest pajamas with ice cream or an alcoholic beverage in hand.

What are your 3 favorite movies or TV shows?

The Office, Interstellar, Pride and Prejudice (2005)--these three wow me all in totally different ways.

What is your favorite place that you’ve traveled to?

It's so hard to choose, but I'd probably have to pick Costa Rica just based on how much fun I had. I was able to zipline over endless canopies, bungee jump 265 feet off a bridge over the Old Colorado River, and whitewater raft through towering gorges--all of which are probably the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had!
